After graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, Dr. Redinger co-founded Illinois Spinal Care in 2007, realizing a dream to build a unique, patient-centered experience. Today, his mission is to help patients and the local community “live their best lives both now and later.” Elmhurst is truly home for his family; his three girls all attend school locally, and he is deeply committed to keeping the community thriving and healthy. Beyond clinical care, he has proudly served on the Elmhurst City Centre Board of Directors for 14 years and counting.
An active member of the local community, he and his family attend Christ Church in Oak Brook. In his free time, he is a passionate fitness enthusiast who can frequently be found working out at local gyms, cycling, and embracing a high-energy, healthy lifestyle. Above all, he loves spending quality time with his family, enthusiastically attending and supporting all of his daughters’ sports, dance, and theater activities. He is also an avid traveler and a dedicated, lifelong fan who loves cheering on his alma mater, the Oklahoma Sooners.
Travis Bertke, DC

Dr. Travis Bertke is a highly skilled chiropractor and the co-founder of Illinois Spinal Care. Since partnering to establish the practice in 2007, Dr. Bertke has been dedicated to providing advanced, patient-centered chiropractic care to individuals of all ages throughout Cook and DuPage Counties.
After earning his Doctorate from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, Dr. Bertke honed his expertise as an associate doctor in several high-volume practices before joining forces with his business partner to launch Illinois Spinal Care’s Elmhurst office. Known for his technical precision and friendly banter, patients from all over the Chicagoland area seek out Dr. Bertke to treat back, neck, and joint pain, as well as complex structural issues.
Dr. Bertke and his team share a dynamic love for people, teamwork, and clinical excellence. This shared passion translates into a unique, results-driven experience designed to help patients feel better immediately and maintain long-term health—all while fostering a fun, welcoming, and high-energy clinic environment.
When he is out of the clinic, Dr. Bertke is a dedicated fitness enthusiast who works to practice what he preaches regarding active, healthy living. He cherishes spending quality time with his family and loves heading back north to enjoy lake life in his home state of Michigan. An avid sports fan, he can always be found enthusiastically cheering on his alma mater, the University of Michigan. Go Blue!
Brian Mendoza, DC
Dr. Brian Mendoza joined the ISC team in 2012 and has been a great addition. Originally from Carpentersville, Illinois, Dr. Mendoza attended Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Mendoza is bilingual and uses that skill to serve both the Spanish and English speaking communities in the Chicagoland area.

Dr. J. Robinson Alexis, DC is a passionate chiropractor who loves helping people feel their best. With over a decade of experience, he combines professional expertise with a warm, personal touch to help you achieve your health goals.
His journey began in his hometown of Cap-Haïtien, Haiti. After serving as a translator following the 2010 earthquake, he saw firsthand how transformative hands-on care can be, which inspired him to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2014. Since then, Dr. Alexis has been dedicated to helping his patients understand how their daily activities impact their health, working closely with them to correct imbalances and prevent future injury.
